In 2013 the company decided to venture into the market of money transfers and they required creating a friendly brand that can build trust so that people can send or receive money through this service, with the advantage that the commission is one of the lowest in the market, while maintaining the security and quality of service.
The challenge was to create a completely original name; a word created from scratch that phonetically could not be related to anything known, but at the same time has a real regarding the course of business.
We created "WIKA" a friendly name, short and easy to pronounce and remember that has its origin in the Nahuatl word "uicla" which means "remittance". We complement the identity with a friendly typography, of curved lines and we choose contrasting colors to define the color range.
We create a symbol that meets two objectives: The first is to graphically represent the brand and the second route through its symbol to the point where the service is located within the convenience store, since the brand has no advertising and the only way to locate the service is through sttopers placed at the entrance of each small little shop.
